AmberFin partners with OctopusMT
03/12/2008

AmberFin and Octopus Media Technology (OctopusMT) today announce a new strategic partnership designed to maximise the value of online video and rich media content.  AmberFin’s iCR software will be integrated into OctopusMT’s leading edge modular content management and delivery platform, increasing the amount of high-quality media content that is available via the internet and IP-based delivery platforms.

The OctopusMT award winning system enables the storage, management and global delivery of video to any digital device - including mobile - with unparalleled quality, functionality and a ‘click-to-play’ user experience.  By integrating AmberFin’s iCR software, Octopus will be able to provide its customers with the ability to digitize and transform new and archived content across IP-based delivery platforms and enable efficient file-based digital workflows without compromising quality.

Together, the AmberFin and OctopusMT's system will be able to offer companies an all-round, future proof media management platform that provides enhanced quality and significant savings both in terms of time and money.  Key targets for the combined solution will be major broadcasters and other content owners.

Jeremy Deaner, CEO at AmberFin, comments: “This strategic partnership with OctopusMT will enable us to extend the reach of AmberFin iCR into the internet market and file based solutions.  Together we can harness the power of rich media, providing a cost effective, easy to use solution that bridges the gap between workflow processes and managing media content.  The new solution will address content owners’ delivery needs, making more rich media relevant and accessible online.”

Andrew Eborn, founder and president of OctopusMT, said: “By adding AmberFin’s iCR software to our modular solution we can provide our customers with an enhanced package that solves their content issues in terms of quality processing, standards conversions, timeline based quality control, functionality and end user experience.  In addition, it will cut the cost of delivering content and help to open up new revenue platforms.”
